Finding out Some Information

Okay, so you know about the school, but now I have to tell you about the phone call I made last night. While Nellie was making dinner, I called our principal. Here is how our phone call went:

Mr. Franklin: Hello, Franklin residence. Larry speaking.

(his name is Larry!!!)

Sam: Principal Franklin, this is Sam- uh, Samantha Parkington.

Mr. Franklin: Oh! Hello Samantha. What a surprise. It's summer you know and I didn't expect a call from a student.

Sam: Well, I was just wondering if you can give me any information about the break in. At the school? Nellie and I are detectives.

Mr. Franklin: Oh, yes. Well, what do you want to know?

Sam: Well, where did the thief break in?

Mr. Franklin: He didn't exactly break in. He some how had a key and used it to get in the back door of the girl's soccer team's locker.

Sam: What did the thief steal?

Mr. Franklin: Not a lot of things are in the lockers right now since school is out. He almost got into the coaches office though. That's where they keep the trophies.

Sam: Oh, no!

Mr. Franklin: Don't worry, Mr. Morton, the janitor, was cleaning in there, getting ready for the new school year. He couldn't catch the robber, but he did keep him from taking anything.

Sam: Thank you for your time, Mr. Franklin. Please let me know if anything else happens.

Mr. Franklin: I sure will. Good bye!

Sam: Bye!

I hung up then and went to my room to do some thinking. I took out my notebook and started writing down the things I knew so far.

Introducing our family!

Hi! My name is Nellie! I live with my sister Samantha (Sam), my twin brother and sister Eric and Emily, and my littlest sister, a bitty baby, Bitsy. I have a dog named Jip, a cat named Licorice, and panda! We are detectives. Well, Sam and I are. Emily goes with us sometimes, more often than Eric. Bitsy never comes because we would have to watch her all the time and she's not very quiet and can get very stinky! Eric and Emily can be a nusance sometimes, but other times they actually help us find a clue or even solve the mystery! Just like the mystery we have on our hands now! Something big is happening at Jeff Jefferson Middle School! It's summer and someone is breaking and entering. It's up to us to find out what's going on. I have to go help make dinner. BYE!
